FOUNDER
-
Dr. Andrew Shaw, PT, DPT earned his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Exercise and Health Science in 2013 from University of Nebraska in Lincoln, prior to earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2016 from University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is also a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
While Andrew's experience is primarily in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine, he has a wide range of clinical experience ranging from working with people in their post-op recovery, older individuals looking to stay healthy and active, and athletes from the NFL, US Olympic team, foreign national teams, and youth sports leagues.
He founded Higher Performance Metrics in 2024 to help clients achieve their wellness and longevity goals. After nearly a decade in outpatient orthopedics Andrew knew there was more that could be done before injuries and chronic musculoskeletal conditions develop. Through utilizing the right measures and thoughtful programing he can help clients move and live well for decades.
In his free time, he can be found spending time with his wife Amber, three children, friends, and family, participating in recreational sports, and church activities.
